We enjoyed learning about the Easter story, going on an Easter hunt around the church searching for crosses and doing lots of fun activities where we thought about what we are thankful for.
It was a fun afternoon!
Thank you St Boniface Church!

Caterpillar
by Christina Rossetti
Brown and furry
Caterpillar in a hurry,
Take your walk
To the shady leaf, or stalk,
Or what not,
Which may be the chosen spot.
No toad spy you,
Hovering bird of prey pass by you;
Spin and die,
To live again a butterfly.

Our new Talk 4 Writing text is Jack and the Beanstalk. Have a go at retelling the story using our story map!
Year 2 had a visit from Farmer Parton recently. He needs our help to buy a cow that costs £13.50. Unfortunately, he cannot work out which coins to use. Could you practise counting money at home to help Farmer Parton buy a cow?
Keep your eyes peeled for all the latest updates, pictures and examples of some dazzling work from children in Year 2. You will see it here first! 🙂
